ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Qualifiers

UAE vs IRE Today Match Prediction

UAE will take on Ireland for the 9th match of the ICC Men’s Qualifiers. Ireland is the only Test-playing nation in the tournament and one of the hot-favourites too. Gary Wilson’s side is a promising one with the likes of seasoned campaigner Kevin O’Brien and Paul Striling. Along with them, Andie Barbirnie is one of the leading scorer for the side. Wins in their home tri-series and then in their pre-tournament warm-ups must have given them the confidence. They would hope to carry their momentum forward.

When: October 19, 2019, 09:00 PM IST

Where: Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi

UAE, on the other hand, find themselves in the middle of a crisis. The last-minute suspension of seamer Qadeer Ahmed and Shaiman Anwar have forced some of the major changes in the side. Ahmed Raza will now be leading the side for them and the team would hope to step up when it matters the most. They are coming off a win against Scotland and PNG in their official preparation games. A lot would depend on Darius D’Silva, Waheed Ahmed and Junaid Siddique when they take on Ireland for the next match.
