It is still very early on in the tournament as Big Bash League is heading forward very rapidly. A few teams have opened their accounts with a couple of games while there is still a team left which has lot played a single game till now. Adelaide Strikers had a very forgettable tournament last season as they finished #7 on the points table. They did not play particularly bad cricket quite like Perth Scorchers but there was not that firing spirit there with them. Alex Carey as the captain of the team would like to lift the spirits up for the entire unit this time around.
When:- December 21, 12:40 PM IST
Where:- Manuka Oval, Canberra
The good thing for Adelaide Strikers is that it is going to play at its home turf. But they have to go through the team which has looked the best in the tournament till now. Sydney Thunder has had a flying start to the tournament and they would be looking to continue playing the way they have till now. The batting lineup is clicking big time with the ample support from the bowlers. It will be interesting to see if they go 3 up in the points table without actually playing a game in their home ground.
1. No changes are anticipated from Sydney Thunder as they look to play the same squad as they have till now.
2. It’s an all new team as we get to see some fresh faces in Adelaide Strikers.
