It is going to be a contest between two very good teams as we head further in Big Bash League 2019/20. It has been an above average season thus far having mostly one sided matches but we can expect a lot better in the time to come as the team combination changes. Melbourne Stars won their last match very comprehensively thanks to a great innings by Marcus Stoinis which was followed by a match winning spell for Harris Rauf on his debut. They have won 2 out of 2 games thus far and are looking as dangerous as ever thanks to the leadership group formed by Glenn Maxwell as the captain of the team who himself is in an amazing touch.
When:- December 27, 1:40 PM IST
Where:- Carrara Oval, Queensland
Adelaide Strikers have had a very decent start to their tournament as well. Both their matches struggled to complete the entire 40-over lot and they narrowly managed to skip the loss against Sydney Thunder while they defeated Perth Scorchers in the second game. Adelaide Strikers is not the strongest team on paper but in all likelihood, they have got potential match winners in their side. Alex Carey himself is unstoppable when on song and Jake Weatherald’s form has been a massive boost who has been destructive at the top of the order.
1. Dale Steyn & Nathan Coulter-Nile are coming in after injuries which will be a boost to Melbourne Stars.
2. Harris Rauf will sadly have to sit out after a match winning spell.
3. Peter Siddle is nudging back into the Adelaide Strikers squad too.
