An age old rivalry once again meets in the climax of a domestic tournament. After battling it out in the Vijay Hajare Trophy, Karnataka vs Tamil Nadu are once again going to meet in the finals and this time around they face off in the shortest format of the game. Karnataka beat Haryana by 5 wickets in the first semifinals while Tamilnadu went through Rajasthan in the second and both were pretty one sided matches and predictable. Both teams have won the tournament once each before and the aim would be to couple it up.
When:- 1st December, 7:00 PM IST
Where:- Lalabhai Contractor Stadium , Surat
Both teams were in the same group in the super league and Karnataka beat Tamil Nadu comfortably in the contest in which they faced off. Tamil Nadu however was the table topper while Karnataka finished second. Karnataka has an edge going into the finals as well considering the strong line up that they have but the experience in Tamil Nadu’s unit cannot be disregarded. You can always hope for a cracker of a game between these teams.
1. They will play with their full fledged line ups considering the fact that there’s no international match around.
2. Ravi Ashwin opened for Tamil Nadu in the Semis and that’s likely to be the case in the finals as well
