PokerBaazi hosts Corporate Social Responsibility event in Gurugram

PokerBaazi hosted a social welfare event for the underprivileged children at the Vidya Integrated Development for Youth and Adults in Gurugram on Thursday. Online poker website PokerBaazi organized the event as a part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative where their brand ambassador and a renowned boxer Vijender Singh also marked his presence.

As part of the event, a batch of 80-100 underprivileged school children got an opportunity of interacting with the Olympic bronze medalist where he talked about his inspirational journey and told them about his years of struggles. He also talked about his inspiration and revealed the motivational force that inspired him to take up boxing as his career. ‘

Vijender Singh emphasized the importance of child education and said, “Children are the leaders of tomorrow. I poured my heart out to these young minds and I hope that my story helps them or inspires them in some way. I am sure that these children will make our country proud one day with their individual contributions to several fields and professions which they choose to pursue.”

Commenting about the event, Navkiran Singh, Founder & CEO of PokerBaazi said, “We are delighted to have Vijender Singh as an ambassador of PokerBaazi. He can inspire people to be associated with mind game like poker and he can also inspire children for taking up sports in their life which could help them in poker.”

PokerBaazi has always involved itself in several welfare activities. They have actively participated in Kerala flood relief, sustainable food development and Clean Yamuna campaign for helping the underprivileged kids.
