The 2018 World Series of Poker has completed its first month and it has witnessed many success stories that have been built in the ongoing tournament.
Some of the Indian names who have made a mark in the tournament were that of Aditya Agarwal, Pawan Bansal, Raghav Bansal and a few others. One of the names who dominated the game was also that of Adda 52 team pro Nikita Luther.
Luther entered in Event #54: Big Blind Antes $3,000 NLHE with 1,019 other participants. She also made it to the Day 3 of the 2018 WSOP $3,000 NLH Event.
The prize pool of the tournament amounted to $2.7 million which will be paid out to the top 153 players. Muskan Sethi, Indian female poker pro who has been recently roped in as the brand ambassador of PokerStars also entered Day 2 of the event.
However, Sethi couldn’t survive and got busted in the early stage. Luther, on the other hand, entered Day 3 of the event before getting eliminated in the 17th place.
By the end of the Day 2 of the event, Luther had amassed 392,000 in chips but she could not repeat her success story on Day 3.
Luther competed well but she got busted against Jonathan Abdellatif.
Luther’s collected her best ever live cash at the 2017 WPT500 Main Event where she stacked $65,000 and she finished at the 5th position.
