BAN vs IND Dream11 Team | Bangladesh vs India | 2019 Cricket World Cup Match Prediction

By Savya Sachi

After displaying a give up attitude in the game against England, India would not come head to head against Bangladesh in the 39th fixture of ICC World Cup 2019 at Edgbaston, Birmingham on Tuesday.

The rivalry with Bangladesh almost walks parallel to the rivalry of Pakistan. The Tigers have always given Indians a tough competition and we are even aware of the fact that what happened with India in World Cup 2007.

A win to India would help them to fix their spot in the semi-finals of the World cup, whereas Bangladesh would be looking forward to keeping their hopes alive ahead of the tournament.

Toss update:

India won the toss and elected to bat first.

India changes:

  • Bhubaneswar comes in for Kuldeep.
  • Kedar Jadhav missed out, Dinesh Karthik comes in place of him.

Bangladesh changes:

Mehidy Hasan Miraz is not playing; Rubel comes in.

Weather, Pitch and Venue Stats:

The pitch at Edgbaston, Birmingham has shown us two different conditions, The first game here was completely in favor of the bowlers, while in the last game, where England beat India, turned out to be a batting track. The weather on the match day is expected to be cooler.

Bangladesh vs India (World cup Head to Head):

Total matches: 3

India won: 2

Bangladesh won: 1

Bangladesh Team News:

  • Bangladesh seems perfectly fine with Liton Das playing up the order.
  • Mahmudullah might not feature in the game against India due to a calf injury. He would be replaced by either Mithun or Shabbir Rahman.
  • After a week rest, Bangladesh would come up against India without being unchanged.

India Team News:

  • Vijay Shankar has been ruled out of the World Cup due to a toe injury. Mayank Agarwal comes in place of him.
  • Rishab Pant replaced Vijat Shankar in the previous game against England.
  • Dinesh Karthik could feature against Bangladesh replacing K Jadhav.

No 1 bowler Jasprit Bumrah is really unpredictable with the ball. He is capable of throwing six different balls in a single over with accurate line and length. He is an important asset and his ability to hit yorkers is the best thing to see in him. If Bumrah manages to pick the top order, then it would get difficult for inexperienced Bangladesh middle order to hold up their positions.

Shakib-al-Hasan has performed arguably brilliant in the world cup till date. Shakib has become the first player in history to score more than 4000 runs along with 10 wickets in a world cup edition. Shakib could be an x-factor player who could make things difficult for the blue side.

BAN vs IND Dream11 Team Prediction

Fantasy picks from Bangladesh:

Liton Das must be in your team as he has slammed 130 runs in three innings at an average of 65.00. He holds an average of 41.20 against India with highest being 121 runs.
Mushfiqur Rahim is the second leading run scorer for Bangladesh with 327 runs in 6 innings at an average of 65.40. He could be a serious threat to the Indian bowlers.
M Rahman has bagged 10 wickets so far in the World Cup for Bangladesh at an economy of 6.70. Rahman has been lethal against India. Bowling 52.2 overs, he has plucked 15 Bangladeshi wickets at an economy of 5.37.
Fantasy picks from India:
M Shami has proved himself in his first three games. He has scalped 13 wickets in three games at an economy of 4.77.  Shami won’t lose his streak and will keep picking wickets. His economy against Bangladesh is 4.83.
Being al-rounder Hardik Pandya has managed to maintain his batting average of 37.40 in this World Cup and has got 5 wickets in his pocket. He could be really impactful.
You can even rely on Rishabh Pant as he is capable of destroying each and every opposition bowler. He is a bit risky player but if the ball keeps coming on his bat, then he could score runs with a double strike rate. Playing just one game at the World Cup, he has scored 32 runs.
Captain and Vice-Captain: Shakib Al -Hasan & R Sharma

Since Jadhav is not playing, you can choose D Karthik as his replacement.
Captain and Vice Captain: S Sarkar & H Pandya
