After a horror showing with just one win from their last ten games, Phoenix Suns will look to return to winning ways when they take on the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday.
New Orleans Pelicans have problems of their own as they plummeted to six defeats in seven games following their four wins of the first four games this season. They’ve just snapped a six match losing streak against the Chicago Bulls and will look to build on it now against their lowly opponents, Phoenix Suns.
Phoenix Suns find themselves at the rock bottom of the Western Conference with a 2-9 record, winning just once in their last 10 fixtures. The Suns lost all three games against the Pelicans last season and that won’t help their confidence either. They’ll have to find some way of getting their campaign back on Tim before time runs out on them. A win here will surely help calm some nerves and make them believe a comeback is still possible.
Match Timing: 11 November 2018, @ 05:30 AM IST
Venue: Smoothie King Centre, New Orleans
Elfrid Payton is expected remain out for one more game tomorrow and will surprisingly be accompanied at the sidelines by Nikola Mirotic who is reported to have picked up a strain.
Phoenix Suns do not have any new injury absentees as they’re expected to start with the same five tomorrow.
Anthony Davis powered with a 32-point spree to take his side to the finishing line and hold off a strong late rally from the Chicago Bulls. He will be vital in tomorrow’s game as well against the Phoenix Suns.
Jrue Holiday has been one stable asset for the Pelicans so far. Not in the game highlights always, but in the game for sure with his defensive superiorities. He will be eyeing to replicate his successful performances again to hand his side a much needed win.
Devin Booker has been trying hard to keep Suns’ sinking boat afloat with his amazing showing so far. He has been the man who keeps fighting till the very end for the Suns in a losing cause almost every other time.
T.J.Warren hasn’t been in the best of form this season but he is probably the best Suns have when it comes to the forwards. If he clicks tomorrow, result might well please the Suns fans after a long long time.
New Orleans Pelicans look to be the better side of the two but considering the injury scars to their roster, Suns will fancy their chances tomorrow. Going against the odds, our prediction foresees an upset tomorrow with a win for the Phoenix Suns.
