In the Western Conference, New Orleans Pelicans will be taking on Oklahoma City Thunder in the regular season of the NBA on Thursday.
New Orleans Pelicans are still recovering from the shock trade request that their best player Anthony Davis demanded. He is one of the best players in the game and he wants to prove it to everyone that he can be a Champion as well. This team made the semi-finals of the Western Conference last year, but are unlikely to even feature in the post-season this time out. The management will be looking to get some good assets out of Anthony Davis as the player is unlikely to be in roster next year.
Meanwhile, Oklahoma City Thunder might just be the team in the Western Conference who is capable of making the Golden State Warriors work hard. They are playing spectacular basketball and are more likely than not going to be in the Finals. The trio of Paul George, Russell Westbrook and Steven Adams has been extremely efficient making this franchise the third best defensively sound team in the NBA. All they need to is keep this form up and polish their mistakes in the post-season.
