In the Western Conference of the NBA, heavyweights take each other on as Houston Rockets host Oklahoma City Thunder in the regular season on Saturday. The Rockets went to the finals of the Western Conference last time out and dragged the Golden State Warriors for a war in what was an epic seven-game series. If Chris Paul didn’t get injured, there was a chance that they would’ve become the champions of the NBA. However, they do have a chance to redeem themselves this year and with their star player James Harden breaking all kind of record when it comes to scoring, nothing seems impossible for the franchise when it is time to clutch up.
Meanwhile, Oklahoma City Thunder might be the only in the entire NBA who have the defensive prowess to keep Golden State Warriors at bay. They have been exceptionally well this season and it clear that coach Billy Donovan has done wonders with this team. Their superstars in Paul George, Russell Westbrook and Steven Adams have been excellent in most of the games, and it is hard to see this side not get a high seed when the playoffs come around. If every single player in their roster is firing on all cylinders, they are a legitimate threat to win the title.
