HOU VS GSW Dream11 Dream11 Predictions

Golden State Warriors vs Houston Rockets NBA Playoffs 2018 Match Preview

When and where:

Even if everybody was expecting the showdown between defending champions Golden State Warriors and regular season’s best team Houston Rockets in the Western Conference with baited breath, it still feels quite surreal to think that Warriors are facing an elimination in this series when they play the pivotal 6th game at Oracle Arena on Sunday, 27th May at 06:30 AM IST.

But that’s the reality as the Dubs have lost three times in the last four NBA games including a chastening home loss in the 4th game, their first in the last 17 NBA playoffs game at Oracle Arena.

So winning in this game is the only option for Steve Kerr’s men if they are to build on their legacy.

HOU VS GSW DREAM11 Team News:

Golden State Warriors – Andre Iguodala has missed the last two games due to a knee injury. Warriors’ head-coach has informed the media that he is a doubt for this game, meaning he has been upgraded to questionable and his inclusion will depend on a late fitness test.

Houston Rockets – Chris Paul suffered a hamstring injury in Game-5 and hasn’t traveled to Oakland for the crunch 6th game. So he is definitely out of this match.

Expected Squad for the match:

Houston Rockets – P. J. Tucker, Trevor Ariza, Clint Capela, James Harden, Eric Gordon, Gerald Green, Luc Mbah a Moute, Nene Hilario

Golden State Warriors – Draymond Green, Kevin Durant, Kevon Looney, Stephen Curry, Andre Iguodala (questionable), Klay Thompson, Jordan Bell, Shaun Livingston, Nick Young, Quinn Cook

HOU VS GSW Dream11 Playing Team:

HOU –

  • Forward – P. J. Tucker, Trevor Ariza
  • Center – Eric Gordon/ Gerald Green
  • Guard – James Harden, Chris Paul

GSW –

  • Forward – Draymond Green, Kevin Durant
  • Center – Andre Iguodala / Kevin Looney
  • Guard – Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson

HOU VS GSW Dream11 players to watch out for:

Golden State Warriors – While LeBron James is already one of the best Basketball players of all time (if not the best), there is a long line of the current crop of players who could claim to be the 2nd best active NBA player (only those who are currently playing). The likes of James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Stephen Curry and Anthony Davis are phenomenal players but Kevin Durant certainly looks a product for the great things. But he is yet to convince a lot of pundits if he could be placed amongst the likes of James, Kobe, and Jordan, to name a few.

With his side facing a potential exit, this is perhaps the best opportunity for him since he joined Warriors that he is really the biggest name in Basketball behind only LeBron James.

Stephen Curry is not far behind. The two-times NBA MVP is a unique talent and is considered as the best ever shooter in NBA.

Houston Rockets – James Harden has been quite phenomenal this season. If last season was all about Russell Westbrook’s triple-double exploits, then this campaign will definitely be remembered for Harden’s consistency throughout this campaign. The 28-year-old Point-Guard averaged more than 30 points in the regular season, while in the postseason he is racking up 28.1 points per game.

While his partner in everything good this season has been Chris Paul. He is Rockets’ 2nd best player and his contribution is the postseason has increased from 18.6 points from regular season to 21.1 points in the off-season.

But he picked up a hamstring injury in the last game and thus has been ruled out from this game leaving Harden with too much to do.

In Paul’s absence, Gerald Green and Eric Gordon need to turn up and make sure that Houston wrap up the series in this game.

HOU VS GSW Dream11 Predictions:

For Golden State Warriors, this is a do-or-die game. They lose this match and they have no choice but to take the highway, while a victory in the game will stretch this series into the 7th game.

Warriors definitely have the players to turn things around, but what is more critical is the absence of Chris Paul from Houston Rockets’ team.

The visitors will be depleted and we are backing the home team to win big in this match.
