The Western Conference of the NBA sees Golden State Warriors travel to take on LA Clippers in the fourth game of the first round of the playoffs on Sunday.
Golden State Warriors showcased why they are the defending champions of the NBA as they put forth a display of basketball that shook the opposition right down the core. Kevin Durant was a big talking point in terms of his ability to not being able to score against Patrick Beverley, and he put on a clinic in terms of field goals. It is once again clear, that Warriors when they are functioning at their optimal, are genuinely the best team in the entire NBA, with nobody coming close at all.
Meanwhile, LA Clippers yet again got a reality check of where they stand in terms of being an elite side. The franchise is now the alpha one in Los Angeles and will be attracting some serious targets in terms of players for the next season. With a great coach in Doc Rivers at the helm of things, they have the ability to produce a side who can contest for titles in future. Right now though, the only thing they can do is prolong the inevitable.
