Cleveland Cavaliers vs Boston Celtics NBA Playoffs 2018 Match Preview

When and where:
Boston Celtics travel to Ohio to take on Cleveland Cavaliers in the penultimate 6th game in the Eastern Conference Finals, Tomorrow at 06:00 AM IST at Quicken Loans Arena. The Greens won the last game 96-83 and pushed the Cavs on the brink of exit as a loss in the match would hand Boston an insurmountable 4-2 lead in this 7-game series.
But it’s easier said than done and there is a particular stat which states that a 7th game may be needed to separate these two sides.
Throughout his career, LeBron James’ team faced elimination in 21 games in the playoffs. In those matches, the 4-times NBA MVP is averaging 33.5 points per game which is an NBA record. While he has played 7 times in potential eliminator with the Cavaliers and has scored a whopping an NBA record 36.9 points, 12.0 rebounds and 9.1 assists per game.
Once again, Cleveland are facing an elimination as his team is down 3-2 in the series, and James has another stats to preserve. The 33-year-old has made into the NBA finals for the last 7 years, 4 with Miami Heat and 3 with Cavs, so there is another motivation for one of the best NBA players of all time.
Also, the stakes couldn’t have been much higher in this game and considering how LeBron has performed in do-or-die matches, one thing for sure, LeBron James will be great come tomorrow.

Cleveland Cavaliers: There are no injury concerns for Cleveland Cavaliers and all the big name players are available for selection. But Cavs’ head-coach need to solve Kyle Korver problem.
Korver is Cavaliers’ 3rd best player in the NBA postseason, behind only LeBron James and Kevin Love. Despite that, he played only 19 minutes in the last game and sit out the entire 1st quarter on the bench.
So Tyronn Lue must make the right decision about the minutes he needs to give to each player and Kyle Korver in particular.

Boston Celtics:

It’s quite motivating to see how Boston Celtics managed to come this far despite missing their two biggest stars through injuries. They are one of the youngest teams in NBA and are riding on the 20-year-old Rookie Jayson Tatum’s brilliance throughout this postseason.
Once again Kyrie Irving, Gordon Hayward, and Daniel Theis are missing this match, while Shane Larkin is a big doubt ahead of this match.

Expected Squad for the match:

Cleveland Cavaliers – LeBron James, Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson, George Hill, J. R. Smith, Jeff Green, Kyle Korver, Larry Nance Jr., Jordan Clarkson, Jose Calderon, Rodney Hood, Cedi Osman, Ante Zizic
Boston Celtics – Jayson Tatum, Al Horford, Aron Baynes, Jaylen Brown, Terry Rozier, Marcus Morris, Marcus Smart, Abdel Nader, Guerschon Yabusele

CLE VS BOS Dream11 Playing Team:

  • Forward – LeBron James, Kevin Love
  • Center – Tristan Thompson
  • Guard – George Hill, J. R. Smith

  • Forward – Jayson Tatum, Al Horford
  • Center – Aron Baynes
  • Guard – Jaylen Brown, Terry Rozier

CLE VS BOS Dream11 players to watch out for:

Cleveland Cavaliers – It’s definitely LeBron James. If he performs as he has done throughout this playoffs season, then there is only one winner at Quicken Loans Arena in today’s game, but he still needs support from his teammates and Kevin Love comes closest in that regard.
He is averaging 14.8 points per game this postseason, while Kyle Korver is the only other player to average in double-digit in Cavaliers’ ranks.

Boston Celtics – Unlike Cleveland Cavaliers, Celtics do perform like a team. The Greens have six players in their team who are averaging in double-digits in this postseason. Jayson Tatum is leading the charge with 18.4 points per game while Jaylon Brown, Terry Rozier, Al Horford, Marcus Morris and Marcus Smart make the top-6.

CLE VS BOS Dream11 Teams:

CLE VS BOS Dream11 Predictions:
The Celtics are leading the series 3-2 after five games. Both the teams lost all the games on the road in this series while completely outperforming the other at their own perch. So considering how things have been panning out up until now, we are backing Cavaliers to win this game.
