In the Western Conference, leaders face off as Denver Nuggets host Portland Trail Blazers in the regular season of the NBA on Friday.
Denver Nuggets are in the second spot in the league table and have qualified for the playoffs as well. They have been superb to say the least and still have managed to proved themselves to be a contender in this thick conference. With two young guns in Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray, they have bright talents who are going to be All-Star calibre players in future. They should not expect to do that well in the post-season, and rather the focus needs to be on learning what needs to be done gather some much-needed experience.
Meanwhile, Portland Trail Blazers are in the fourth spot in the Western Conference and that will be an excellent result for a franchise of their stature. They are looking to make some moves and the goal for the team is to make conference finals. Even though that seems highly unlikely, but it will fair them well to have a high target with the mentality of players. We do back them to win a playoff series at the least.
