The Western Conference of the NBA, Denver Nuggets will take on LA Lakers in the regular season on Wednesday.
Denver Nuggets are in the second spot in the Western Conference and have done exceptionally well for a franchise who didn’t acquire any named asset in the past summer. Instead, their young guns stepped up to prove themselves, and have now become one of the big name players in the NBA. The team will be looking to showcase that they truly are an elite side, and are going to the playoffs after a brief break from the post-season.
Meanwhile, LA Lakers have gone being the team to challenge Golden State Warriors this season to not even being the side who is likely to qualify for the playoffs. The injury that LeBron James suffered for a month has cost this franchise dearly, and they haven’t still played at the level they were operating at initially. Everything that could go wrong has gone wrong, and it seems like that coach Luke Walton has got his job on the line.
