BOS vs PHI Dream11 Dream11 Predictions
Philadelphia 76ers vs Boston Celtics NBA 2018 Match Preview

Runner’s up of the Eastern Conference in the NBA season 2017, Boston Celtics will be looking to start the new year on a high as they take on Philadelphia 76ers in the first game of 2018/19 campaign.

Boston Celtis have won the NBA Championship 17 times, and are regarded as one of the most successful teams in the history of the tournament. They have done consistently well in most of the seasons. Touted as the only real competition by many of the American sports journalists for the defending champions Golden State Warriors, Boston Celtics have the perfect opportunity to make a statement by winning emphatically against their opponents in their own backyard.

However, Philadelphia 76sers are no pushovers. They have a group of young players who are extremely talented. Albeit the experience level between the two teams is in the favour of the home side, but 76ers can match with Boston in terms of potential. Coach Brett Brown has been given the job to nourish these players and convert them into superstars, and this challenge will be the ideal litmus test he needs.

Boston Celtics –

Gordon Hayward will be looking to make good of his second year at the Boston Celtics. In his first season, his career was cut short after a devastating injury that kept him out for the rest of the season. If he doesn’t make use of his time in this season, it will be tough to see him settle down in this team.

Kyrie Irving is the All-Star point guard for the team. With the ambitions of wanting to become the best in the world, his mentality is pivotal for the success this team has this season.

Philadelphia 76ers –

Ben Simmons has been in the news lately as he has piqued the interest of LA Lakers. He is only 22-years old and is already one of the better players in this team, and could very well become an all-time great.

Joel Embiid is a Cameroonian professional basketball player. He was the third overall pick in the 2014 NBA Drafts and has been a mainstay for the team in recent years.
