Add to that the fact that they’ll visiting their formidable opponents with a not so impressive away record. Andriy Shevchenko will be aware that Portugal are arguably their toughest opponent in Group B and even a point will be more of a positive result.

Portugal are aiming for a high flying start to their qualifier campaign and the return of Cristiano Ronaldo makes them all the more formidable. Ukraine do pose a decent threat, but Portugal look well armed to neutralise it. We expect the final scoreline to read Portugal 2-1 Ukraine.
