ESS vs SUS DREAM11 Match Preview

As the caravan of the Vitality Blast rolls on, Essex Eagles will take on Sussex Sharks at Chelmsford on July 04, 2018.

The four-time finalists will look to start their 2018 campaign on a positive note after having finished eighth in the league table last season. They would be led by ace Dutch batsman in Ryan ten Doeschate, and have a plethora of big-hitting at their disposal, spearheaded by Varun Chopra. Chopra (26 sixes last year) was in imperious form last year and only Colin Ingram and Riki Wessels blasted more sixes than him. On the bowling front, Essex Eagles will have the services of Aussie leg-spinner Adam Zampa, fast-bowler Neil Wagner and Aussie Peter Siddle, while Paul Walter (leading wicket-taker for Eagles last year) expected to be their X-factor.

Their opponents in Sussex Sharks will be led by Luke Wright. While they boast of Kiwi’s Tom Bruce (strike-rate of 128.40 in 14 T20I) and Laurie Evans, who is set to take-over the top-order role from Chris Nash, they are spoilt for riches in their fast-bowling department, with the likes of Jofra Archer, Tymal Mills and Chris Jordan at their disposal. Their major overseas signing includes Rashid Khan, the World’s ranked T20 team in the world.
