ESS vs MID Dream11 Match Predictions

T20 Vitality Blast, 2018

Essex vs Middlesex, South Group

As the caravan of the Vitality T20 Blast rolls on, Essex Eagles will take on Middlesex what is expected to be another riveting encounter on Friday night.

Essex Eagles kickstarted their campaign with a 36-run mauling at the hands of Sussex Sharks. After having reduced to 3-32 thanks to Jamie Porter (2-26) and Matt Coles (1-49), the bowlers ran into rampaging duo of Laurie Evans (61) and Michael Burgess (56 off 23 balls) who with the help of quickfire 17-ball-23 from Wiese and Archer (24) led Sussex to 6-181 in 20 overs.

Essex’s much-vaunted line-up failed big time against Wiese (5-24) and Jofra Archer (3-24) as none of their batsman except Varun Chopra (64) and Westley (22) could offer any substantial support to eventually finish 36-run short of the target. They will now face Middlesex, who are bolstered by the presence of Dwayne Bravo and will be led by Dawid Malan.

Venue:- County Ground, Chelmsford

Match Timings:- Friday, July 06, 2018, 11:30 PM IST

Pitch Report

The pitch at Chelmsford offers resistance for the fast bowlers initially while aiding the batsman as the day progresses.
