Yorkshire Vikings will take on Durham Jets in their opening fixture of T20 Vitality Blast 2018 at Headingley, Leeds tomorrow (July 05). Both the teams are placed in North group. The clash will begin at 11:00 PM IST.

Vikings will be led by Steven Patterson who took over the captaincy from Gary Balance last month. Vikings were knocked out of group stage last year and would be eyeing their maiden title win this year. Yorkshire will start their journey without the services of England internationals Adil Rashid, David Willey and Liam Plunkett for the first five games. Apart from them, New Zealand’s skipper Kane Williamson will also miss the first few games and will be available from July 20.

On the opposite, Durham Jets will play under the leadership of Tom Latham. New Zealand opener, Latham, also led Jets in the recently concluded Royal London One Day Cup 2018. Durham will be boosted by the presence of English all-rounder Ben Stokes and South Africa spinner Imran Tahir.
