The iconic Kingsmead in Durban will play the host for the 11th game of Momentum One-Day Cup 2019 which will witness a clash between the table-toppers Dolphins and the second-placed Warriors.

Both teams have been playing brilliantly as they haven’t lost a single game so far and are the only two teams in this season to do so. Dolphins have won all their 3 matches against Lions, Titans and Cape Cobras, whereas, Warriors have won 2 out of 3 whereas one of their game against Lions was a no result affair. Their wins came against Cape Cobras in their opening match by 3 wickets and against Knights by 14 runs in a 47-overs per side game.

Warriors best performance so far has come against Cape Cobras at the Boland Park in Paarl where they chased a target of 276 runs with 3 wickets to spare. The chase was led by Gihahn Cloete who scored a magnificent 111 from 127 deliveries which included 11 fours and got some good support from opener Matthew Breetzke and S Qeshile who got half-centuries to their name.

For Dolphins, the game against Highveld Lions was an exciting contest where both teams got scores in excess of 300 as a total of 665 runs were scored on the day. Vaughan van Jarsveld’s astonishing 124 and scores of 81 and 74 from Dane Vilas and David Miller respectively propelled Dolphins to a massive total of 342 runs. In reply, Highveld Lions did their best out their courtesy Reeza Hendricks’s 130 and skipper Rassie van der Dussen’s 51 but Imran Tahir’s 3-fer proved valiant for Dolphins and they clinched a victory by 19 runs.
