With two matches already in their pocket, Zimbabwe will walk into the third ODI with their tails-up to secure the 4-match series. Zimbabwe was once again at the top of their game in the second ODI as they won the rain-curtailed game by 4runs.
UAE’s batting has been miserable in this series so far as yet again they were dismissed before 200 for the second time on the bounce. Talking about the last game, Peter Moor asked UAE to bat first and they could only manage 169 for the loss of 9 wickets in 35 overs per-side match.
Zimbabwe were given a revised target of 181 runs which they had to chase in 35 overs. Wicket-keeper batsmen Regis Chakabva remained unbeaten on 78 while skipper Peter Moor struck an unbeaten 45 from 33 balls to guide his team home.
One more win here will seal the series for Zimbabwe, whereas, the UAE would be hoping to win the remaining two games to end the series with a scoreline of 2-2.
