UAE would look to seal the series when they take on Nepal in the second game of the three-match ODI series at ICC Academy in Dubai on Saturday. The series opener was a low-scoring affair. United Arab Emirates won the toss asked the tourists to bat first. Nepal’s opener was dismissed in the very first over to put forth a hint of what was to unfold.
Nepal kept losing wickets at regular interval and were bowled out for a partly 113. The target seemed easy for the hosts but just like Nepal, UAE batsmen struggled to get going. In the end, it was UAE’s lower order batting that took them over the line.
The three-match One Day International series will be followed by two sides will play three Twenty 20 Internationals.
