Sussex came into their last fixture against Kent after having lost to Surry by 52 runs- their first defeat of the competition after having won three games on the bounce. Their last fixture against Kent was a wash-out and Sussex will hope to get back to winning ways when they take on Hampshire on Sunday.

Their opponents in Hampshire have had an abysmal Vitality Blast campaign thus far having lost four of their six matches. They come into SUS vs HAM on the back of a 22-run loss at the hands of Middlesex where their batsmen failed to chase down 165.
