Sri Lanka and South Africa will collide for the third time in this series. The Proteas would be looking to seal the series in the third ODI itself which will be played at the Kingsmead Durban.
The longevity Sri Lanka showed in the Test series is definitely missing in the ODIs and they are definitely struggling in every facet of the game. They haven’t shown any sort of character in the ongoing series which is definitely the reason for struggle.
Talking about the last ODI, South Africa was once again impulsive as they thrashed the visitors by a massive margin of 113 runs. Quinton de Kock’s 94 and skipper Faf’s 57 set the match for South Africa which helped them reach a competitive 251.
Now, it was the Proteas bowlers who did the rest by picking up wickets at regular intervals which did not let the Sri Lankan batters settle down. Kagiso Rabada led the bowling department with 3 scalps to his name while Lungi Ngidi, Anrich Nortje and Imran Tahir got 2 each to bundle out Sri Lanka for a mere 138 in just 32.2 overs.
