The first test match scheduled to take place at Galle International Stadium, Galle begins tomorrow at 10:00 AM IST. Both the teams have named their full squad. While Dale Steyn gets a call in Proteas squad, Angelo Matthews has returned to Sri Lankan squad for two test matches.

The visitors have also played a 2-day practice match against Sri Lanka Board Presiden XI to get familiar to the dusty surface. Hosts are expected to provide a dusty track to aid spinners. South Africa has named 15 man squad for the longest format. Dale Steyn gets a call. As per Proteas coach Ottis Gibson, South Africa will go with three pacers and two spinners in the first test. So, Vernon Philander, Dale Steyn, and Kagiso Rabada are expected to play tomorrow.

Hosts have named 16 members squad to welcome Proteas. Rangana Herath and Kusal Perera are subject to fitness while Suranga Lakmal is expected to lead the team as Chandimal is facing a ban.
