Sri Lanka vs England 3rd Test Match Preview
The third and final test between Sri Lanka and England begins on Friday at Colombo. England has already won the series by 2-0 and would be looking to clean sweep hosts at their own courtyard. England won the first test by 211 runs and clinched the series with 57 runs win in the second test at Pallekele.
The visitors have made a couple of changes in their squad for the third test. Fast bowler James Anderson has been given rest along with all-rounder Sam Curran. Sam Curran encountered a minor injury in the second test. While Stuart Broad comes as a replacement for James Anderson, Jonny Bairstow has been roped in place of Sam Curran. Bairstow returns as a frontline batsman and is expected to bat at number 3.
On the opposite, hosts- Sri Lanka are still without their regular skipper and will be led by Suranga Lakmal. They will also miss the services Akila Dhananjaya whose bowling action is being investigated.
