Big Bash League, 2018 | Sydney Sixers vs Melbourne Stars, Match 10 | SDS vs MLS Who Will Win
The 10th match of the 2018 KFC Big Bash League will see Sydney Sixers play host to Melbourne Stars at iconic Sydney Cricket Ground on Thursday. While the Sixers find themselves at the fifth spot with a win in two matches, the Stars are yet to open their account after having lost both of their opening two games.
After notching up a 17-run win in their opening encounter, the Sixers succumbed to a 21-run loss in the Sydney derby against the Thunder. After Jos Buttler had blazed away with a whirlwind 37-ball-63, Tom Curran [3-24] and Steven O’Keefe [2-27] pulled it back with aplomb to restrict ST to 9-169. But, all their good work was undone by the duo of Daniel Sams [3-30] and Fawad Ahmed [3-33] as they wrecked through the Sixers top-order to leave them reeling at 6-56.
Ultimately, Tom Curran, via a peerless 40-ball-62, saved his side from the blemishes courtsey an 88-run stand with Sean Abbott. But, it did not prove to be enough as Sams and Green insinuated yet another collapse to restrict them to 9-148 in 20 overs.
They will now face Melbourne Stars, who are yet to register a win in the tournament and are coming off a six-wicket shellacking at the hands of Hobart Hurricanes thanks to Matthew Wade’s whirlwind 37-ball-52 and cameos from Ben McDermott and George Bailey .

Glenn Maxwell , Nick Larkin and Moises Henriques will spearhead the middle-order.
Other Options- Josh Phillipe, Jordan Silk
Both sides boast of world-0class all-rounders. While the Stars have the likes of Bravo and Stoinis at their disposal, the Sixers have Steven O’Keefe, who claimed two wickets in the last game along with Joe Denly. You can opt for any of them in your Dream11 team.
With the SCG renowned for assisting spinners, the likes of Lamicchane can have a big say in the game. He will spearhead the spinning department while the likes of Abbott, Boland and Coleman are safe best for the pacers slot.
