Chasing down a score of 204 runs in 20 over, the Scottish fell short by 48 runs and lost the 1st T20 to visitors Pakistan. Pakistan’s mammoth score was reached by standing on the shoulders of Sarfraz (89*) and Shoaib Malik’s (53). The Scots were led from the front by their skipper Kyle Coetzer who scored 31 and he was supported by Michael Leask who scored and unbeaten 39 runs but apart from them, the hosts simply failed in all departments. Now as they play the second T20 in the same ground they would want to balance the T20 series by registering a win in this game as they defeated England before the starting of this series. However, things would not be easy for the hosts because they are up against the best T20 team in the world at the moment and the great display they have put up it is likely that they would win this game.
