Pakistan Super League, 2019 | Quetta Gladiators vs Peshawar Zalmi, 3rd Match | QUE vs PES Who Will Win
Peshawar Zalmi who were the winners of the second season of Pakistan Super League will be in action for the first time in this edition and they will be facing Quetta Gladiators in their first match.
The Zalmi’s were the runners-up last season when they were in pursuit to defend their title which they eventually lost to Islamabad United. Quetta, on the other hand, was led by the Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed but did not had a great run as they finished 4th on the points table.
The Gladiators will once again be led by the Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed who is not in best of the forms currently. They still have their biggest marquee name in the form of Shane Watson who scored 319 runs from 10 innings in his debut year for Quetta.
Apart from him Rilee Rossouw who has been a part of this set-up from 2017 and has mustered 455 runs from 17 innings is still one of their key players. The team has some natural talent at their helm which can evolve as a match winner any time.
The runners-up of the last year and the champions of 2017, Peshawar Zalmi have been one of the most consistent sides in the history of Pakistan Super League. Led by one of the most successful T20 captains Darren Sammy, the Zalmi’s are one of the most balanced side as they have maintained their core group of players this year as well.
They have roped in veteran Misbah-ul-Haq who served Islamabad United for 3 long years but will be seen donning yellow and blue in the upcoming season. Apart from him, the likes of Darren Sammy, Hasan Ali, Kieron Pollard, Kamran Akmal already in the mix, they have a formidable unit this time around as well.

Safest bets from either side:
Peshawar’s wicket-keeper Kamran Akmal who was one of the batting stalwarts last season will be a safe bet here. Skipper Darren Sammy and all-rounder Kieron Pollard are also the safest bets for Peshawar.
Their new recruit the Pakistan limited-overs opener Imam-ul-Haq will be a considerable option with the likes of Wahab Riaz and Hasan Ali being the bowling options here.
Quetta Gladiators who did not had a season to remember last time around but will rely upon the likes of Shane Watson, Rilee Rossouw and Umar Akmal. Rossouw was exceptional in the Bangladesh Premier League and was one of the centurions in the tournament, he will look to implement his good run form.
They have some fine talent in their bowling department with the likes of Mohammad Nawaz, Fawad Ahmed and Sohail Tanvir at their helm.
