PK-W vs NZ-W Dream11 Match Predictions

ICC Women’s World T20-2018

Pakistan Women and New Zealand Women 14th Match Preview

The 33-run defeat against Australia in the second game has left White Ferns in a do or die situation against Pakistan. Still dreaming to advance to the next round, New Zealand Women could be the first team to face an early exit from T20 World Cup2018. They are placed at the fourth spot in Group B with zero points in two games and are solely relying on if and buts and a lot of luck. Moreover, in reality, the White Ferns are out of the World Cup.

Circumstances for The Ferns to qualify for semi-finals:

  • New Zealand need to beat both Pakistan and Ireland
  • Ireland need to beat India on Friday morning
  • Australia need to beat India on Sunday morning
  • The Ferns need to end up with a higher net run rate than India

Maiden win keeps Pakistan alive

@ ICC-Cricket | Pakistan Women are still alive in the contest

Skipper Javeria Khan’s career best (74* of 52) against Ireland helped Pakistan to register their maiden 38-run win in the tournament and stay alive in the contest. In what was a do or die match for the side, Pakistan rode on Javeria Khan’s unbeaten 74 runs knock to post 139-6 on board after winning the toss.

In response, Ireland fell short of 38 runs in the chase and could only muster 101-9. Sana Mir, Aiman Anwer, Nashra Sandhu and Aliya Riaz bagged two wickets each to restrict the opposition.

With four points coming from one win and two defeats in three games, Pakistan is placed third in the league tables. Apart from a win against New Zealand, they will have to rely on any one of India and Australia to advance to the next round.
