Ford Trophy, 2018
Otago vs Northern Knights, 4th Match | OTG vs NK WHO WILL WIN
As the caravan of the 2018 Ford Trophy rolls on, Otago will take on Northern Knights at the picturesque Seddon Park in Hamilton as both sides aim to register their maiden win of the tournament.
Otago’s batting effort against Central Districts was a tale of two contrasting halves. While the top-order failed to convert the starts into a substantial score, their lower-middle order capitulated in scintillating fashion to get bowled out for 232 in pursuit of 7-269.
They’ll face Northen Knights, who too are coming off a 2-wicket defeat after Sean Solia’s riveting 138-ball-133 took Auckland past the finishing line after they’ve set 269 to win thanks to half-centuries from Daryll Mitchell (66) and Brett Hampton (79).
