Oman will kick-off their ICC World Cup qualifying campaign against the USA in Windhoek on Saturday. The competition which is being called as ICC World Cricket League Division 2 is being contested by 6 teams. Other than Oman and USA, Canada, Hongkong, Namibia and Papua New Guinea will fight to finish in top 4 in the division.
Notably, the top teams from division 2 will then contest with Scotland, Nepal, and the United Arab Emirates in the competition which will have 36 fixtures. The top 3 teams at the end of it will qualify for Cricket World Cup Qualifier, from which top 2 teams will play in the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup.
