NZ-W-Y vs AU-W-Y Dream11 Team | New Zealand Women Development vs Australia Women Under 19s 3rd ODI Match Preview & Prediction | Fantasy Team & Team News

New Zealand Women Development have won the ODI series against Australia Women Under 19s. The 3-match series is being hosted by the Kiwis and they have won it by winning the first 2 games of the tournament. The White Ferns had registered a comprehensive victory in the first match of the series, however, the second match was much more closely fought.

The Preview

New Zealand are strong at home

New Zealand Development team will be pleased with their performances in the ODI series. The home team had run riot in the opening game when their bowlers dismissed Australia Under 19s for a low score. Then, the Kiwis’ opening partnership destroyed the Aussie bowlers and the home team chased the target successfully with 19 overs to spare. Australia came back stronger in the second ODI as they posted a good total of 249 runs. However, the White Ferns snatched a nail-biting win in this game as well.

The Kiwis won the game with 2 balls to spare when they were down for 8 wickets.  Sky Bowden smacked a six to win her team the game and the series.

Australia showing signs of life

After losing the first match in a very disappointing fashion, Australia had to show some fight – and they did. The Australian batting order looked much more resilient as Sutherland scored a brilliant century to guide her team to a respectable score. The Aussies were also better in their bowling department as Silver Holmes and Knott almost helped their team in winning the game.

Despite losing the series, the visitors will take confidence from their last match and hope to win the last game to save their pride.
