NZ-W vs IN-W Dream11 Prediction

India Women tour of New Zealand 2nd T20I | New Zealand Women vs India Women | NZ-W vs IN-W Who Will Win

New Zealand women continued with their impressive show from the final ODI to register a scintillating 23 runs victory in the 1st T20I which helped them get a nod ahead in the three-match series.

The next game will be played at the Eden Park in Auckland which is a high-scoring ground due to the dimensions of the ground which favours the hard-hitting batsmen.

Talking about the first T20I, winning the toss Harmanpreet Kaur asked the Whiteferns to have a go with the bat. Sophie Devine opened the innings alongside Suzie Bates and scored a brilliant 62 off 48 deliveries which included 6 fours and 2 sixes.

She got a good company in the form of skipper Amy Satterthwaite who got 33 from 27 balls, while Katey Martin and Frances Mackay remained unbeaten on 27 and 10 respectively.

In the chase, the Indian women despite a record half-century fro Smriti Mandhana fell short of the target by 23 runs as they could only manage 136 in 19.1 overs. Leg spinner Lea Tahuhu was the pick of the bowlers as she got 3 for 20 in her quota of 4 overs, while Leigh Kasperek was the second best bowler with 2 scalps to her name.

  • In the batting department, Smriti Mandhana is the safest choice as she has been the batter of the tour with as many as 240+ runs in both ODIs and T20Is collectively.
  • Whiteferns skipper Amy Satterthwaite is a good option here along with Suzie Bates.
  • Jemimah Rodriguez got some runs in the first game and would be a good choice here along with her skipper Harmanpreet Kaur.

  • Sophie Devine was the player of the match in the last game and batted beautifully for 62 runs and got a wicket as well.
  • Amelia Kerr and Deepti Sharma are the other two safe options.

  • Whiteferns Lea Tahuhu wrenched the Indian batting with 3 scalps to her name in the last game.
  • Leigh Kasperek got two in the last game and bowled well.
  • Indian bowling wasn’t up to the mark last time around, but the likes of Poonam Yadav, Radha Yadav would be the safest bets here.
