New Zealand’s Whiteferns take on Governor General’s XI for a warm-up ahead of the ICC Women’s Championship fixtures against Australia Women. The Whiteferns would want to take this opportunity to get in the groove against the confident Aussie side that is leading 2-0 in the three-match ODI series.
In the last two outings, it was much of a routine as Australia Women once again dominated New Zealand Women on the cricket field. Whiteferns would be downhearted with the manner of loss in the 2nd ODI of series against Australia Women, where the lost by a massive margin of 95 runs. The touring New Zealand side was bundled for 152 in reply to Australia Women’s 247/7 and did not offer much of a resistance.
