Netherlands vs Nepal 1st ODI Preview

After one day’s T20 tri-series against Marylebone Cricket Club, Nepal and Netherlands are all set to play 2 matches ODI series. Nepal, which is the newest ODI country, is on a tour of Netherlands and will play its first ODI  against Netherlands which is the 13 spot holder in ODI listings.

Ahead of the series, Nepal played two T20 games against MCC and Netherlands in which they registered 9 wickets win over MCC in a 6 overs per side game. Their second game against the Netherlands was washed out due to rain.

Both the teams will lock horns at VRA Cricket Ground on Wednesday afternoon. This will be Nepal’s first ever ODI game. Nepal received the ODI status after beating Papua New Guinea in the ICC World Cup Qualifier in Harare in March 2018.

After the first ODI, both teams will meet again at the same venue for the second and final ODI of the series on August 03.
