The eleventh season of Indian Premier League will kick off on April 07 with the season opener being played between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. The 1st match between three times title winner MI and CSK will be played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. The clash will begin at 08:00 PM local.
While Mumbai Indians will be led by Rohit Sharma, Chennai Super Kings which is returning after two years of suspension will play under the leadership of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. A high scoring match is expected to kickstart the tournament.
