So, after another heartbreaking loss against Delhi Daredevils, it has now become three in a row for Mumbai Indians. They would be desperately looking for a win when they will host Royal Challengers Bangalore at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on April 17. The 14th match of IPL 2018 will begin at 08:00 PM Local between MI and RCB.
While MI has faced three defeats in as many games, RCB has secured one win in three games so far. They lost their last game against Royals on Sunday by 19 runs. While MI has lost its matches despite performing good, RCB is still looking to gel together and perform as a unit. The whole team is currently dependent upon two or three players.
So, it will be interesting to watch MI ending its losing streak and starting their winning streak from their home.
MUM- L, L, L
BLR- L, W, L
Mumbai Indians have lost three matches in a row. However, management might stick to the same playing 11. Apart from Akila Dananjaya, everyone is contributing their part. Akila was given chance in the last game. Management might give him one more chance and field the same playing 11.
Adam Milne has been brought in place of injured Pat Cummins. He might get chance in place of Akila Dhananjaya.
Apart from this, no changes are expected except for any injury.
Royal Challengers Bangalore, might replace B McCullum with Colin de Grandhomme after two consecutive fails. Management can also look for options for Kulwant Khejroliya. Rest no changes are expected in the RCB playing 11.

Although MI is not winning games, everyone is contributing to MUM. Suryakumar Yadav (53 of 32), Evin Lewis (48 of 28) and Ishan Kishan (44 of 23) were the top contributors for MI in the previous game. In bowling, Krunal Pandya, Mustafizur Rahman were the wicket-takers. Krunal took 2 wickets while Rahman took one wicket.
In Bangalore. B McCullum has failed in two innings. Q de Kock, Virat Kohli, and AB de Villiers are the run scorers for the team. Mandeep Singh in the lower middle order is also contributing well. He was unbeaten 47 of 25 balls against RR.
In bowling, C Woakes and Y Chahal took 2 wickets each.
It’s just unfortunate for MI. Even after performing well in the first and second game, they lost. Their performance in the third game was somewhat average but are expected to fight back stronger when they will face Royal Challengers Bangalore.
On the opposite, RCB has failed to perform as a team. Apart from just top 4 batsmen, the whole team’s performance has been below par in all the matches so far.
A power packed performance from biggies like V Kohli, Ab de Villiers, Even Lewis and Rohit Sharma is expected. As per our Mum vs Blr match predictions, the home team is expected to turn out as the winner.
In wicketkeeper, both I Kishan and Q de Kock will be a good choice. Q de Kock will be a better choice as he comes to open the innings while Ishan Kishan comes lower in the batting order. In batsman, V Kohli, AB de Villiers, Mandeep Singh, Suryakumar Yadav will be a perfect choice. All are in great form.
Pandya brothers will be the right pick for allrounders. Chris Woakes is also contributing well.
In bowling, Jasprit Bumrah, Y Chahal, Washington Sundar will be the safe bet.
