KXIP vs SRH Dream11 Prediction

Indian Premier League, 2019 | Kings XI Punjab vs Sunrisers Hyderabad, 22nd Match | KXIP vs SRH Who Will Win

The doubleheaders are over and the tournament has entered into its third week, where the 22nd match will take place at the PCA IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali between the Kings XI Punjab and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Kings XI Punjab

Kings XI Punjab got a roadblock in the form of Chennai Super Kings in the last game where the slowness of pitch daunted them. Chasing 160 runs to win, KXIP started well and were looking on course in the middle when the duo of KL Rahul and Sarfaraz Khan stitched a 110 runs stand for the third wicket.

One of them had to stay there till the end which did not happen and the slowness of the surface played its part as they succumbed to their second loss of the season by 22 runs.

Now, having played 5 and winning 3 of them, the Kings XI Punjab have drooled to the fifth position from the top spot. They haven’t lost the momentum though and will eye a bounce back after the last match debacle.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

What happened with Hyderabad in the last match was coming for sure. Their middle order wasn’t tested so far and the last match completely exposed it. Once the openers David Warner and Jonny Bairstow were dismissed, Sunrisers were completely outclassed by Mumbai Indians.

A 40 runs defeat is what they got in their previous encounter which has put them on the second spot now after 6 points from 5 matches. Three wins is what they have got from 5 games and will look to shrug off their last match disappointments.

The middle-order is what they have to look into in the upcoming matches as Yusuf Pathan, Manish Pandey, Deepak Hooda haven’t looked great which has deemed them to look into some alternatives. Will they go for some changes in the middle order? We will get the answers tomorrow.

KXIP vs SRH Dream11 Teams

Players to watch out SRH:

The opening duo of David Warner and Jonny Bairstow has been doing the bulk of the scoring for SRH, whereas the middle-order has really struggled to get going. All-rounder Mohammad Nabi has been brilliant from the last three matches he has played as he has got 8 scalps to his name.

Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Sandeep Sharma have been the bowling pillars for this side and once again will be the reliable ones.

Players to watch out KXIP:

Openers KL Rahul and Chris Gayle will be the ones to watch out. KL has got 2 fifties while Gayle has got 1 from 4 innings. Mayank Agarwal has been the consistent one in the side, while Sarfaraz Khan who got his maiden IPL fifty in the last game will be gelling with confidence.

Mohd Shami has not been economical in this season but has got wickets to his name. Sam Curran after that magical spell against DC continued his good form in the game against CSK
