T20 Vitality Blast, 2018

Kent vs Hampshire, South Group

As the caravan of the Vitality T20 Blast rolls on, Kent Spitfires will take on Hampshire on Friday what is expected to be an encore of the Royal London ODI Cup finale.

Both teams are coming off a loss in their previous fixture and would hope to get back to winning ways. Kent Spitfires were defeated by Gloucestershire by a margin of five runs in a nerve wrecking thriller at Bristol. Riding on steady contributions from Barnett (31 off 15 balls) and Jack Taylor (42) Gloucestershire posted a very competitive 7-184 in their quota of 20 overs. Chasing 185, Kent lost Denly early for 5 and even though Heino Kuhn (44), Billings (24) and Sean Dickson (32) provided some resistance, they eventually fell short by five runs.

Venue:- St Lawrence Ground, Canterbury

Match Timings:- Friday, July 13, 2018, 10:00 PM IST

Their opponents in Hampshire too are coming off a 63-run loss at the hands of Glamorgan and would be hoping to address their fledgeling start with an improved performance against Kent Spitfires.
