After defeating Sri Lanka with an inning and record 239 runs, Virat Kohli and company now have their eyes on equaling a record ninth straight series win when they will play the third and last test match starting on Saturday at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi. Already having an edge over the guest by 1-0 in three matches series; India will equal Australia’s record of nine consecutive series victories if they managed to lift this series. Now with just one win away from equaling this record, India will leave no stone unturned to achieve the milestone.
On the other hand, Sri Lanka has been lusterless in their entire series. The guests have been lagging behind in all the aspects. Be it batting, bowling or fielding. It may not be simple as icing on the cake, but it won’t be much hard for India to name the test series, either.

Although the wicket at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi has largely been batting friendly, the pitch curator says it will aid fast bowlers more. Over the last few years and matches, the pitch has assisted batsmen more than bowlers but as Indian team is preparing for the coming series in South Africa, the pitch at Kotla is prepared to help fast bowlers.
