India tour of Australia, 2018 | Australia vs India, 2nd Test | AUS vs IND Who Will Win
After edging out Australia by a 31-runs in what turned to be a humdinger, in the end, Virat Kohli and Inda will look to continue with the winning momentum when they take on the hosts in the second Test on Friday.
The second Test will see both sides herald into an unknown territory with the New Optus Stadium in Perth set to host its first five-day match. The build-up around the second Test has been around the nature of the pitch which in the words of the local curator is like the WACA pitch of the old, with pace, seam and bounce.
Australia should be a wit wary though. Their fast bowlers were out balled by their Indian counterparts and their top-six have looked have looked very fragile.
India, too, will want their openers to play out the opening burst of the Aussie fast bowlers making the work of their middle-order easier. All in all, it is expected to be an intriguing Test match, one that will be decided as to how the batsmen of both sides play.

Batters- With the pitch set to offer prodigious pace and bounce, I’ll go in with middle-order batsmen from both sides. Pujara, Kohli, Marsh and Khwaja are my picks to spearhead the batting department.
Wicket-Keeper-Both Tim Paine and Rishab Pant bat down the order. You can opt for either of them in your Dream11 team.
All-rounders- Travis Head showed steely resistance in the last match to save Australia from the blemishes in the first innings. He will take up the all-rounder’s spot.
Bowlers- With the pitch expected to aid the fast bowlers and both sides boasting of quality fast bowlers. You can go for any of them in your XI. My picks would be Ishant, Bumrah, Cummins and Hazelwood.
Fantasy Tip:- With the temperatures at Perth expected to hover around 38 degrees, the heat might open up the cracks as the Test progresses. In that case, Nathan Lyon could become a dangerous proposition. You can opt for him in your Dream11 team.
