India Women and England Women will play three-match ODI series from April 6 – 12. Both the teams recently participated in the Women’s T20 tri-series in India that was won by Australia. The 1st ODI will be played tomorrow (March 06) at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur. The match will begin at 09:00 AM Local.

England Women have named a 16-member squad including three uncapped players to face off India Women. Bryony Smith, Alice Davidson and Katie George will make their debut while Kate Cross, Tash Farrant, and Amy Jones have returned to the squad.
England women have given rest to the regular wicketkeeper Sarah Taylor. Katherine Brunt will miss out the series due to a back injury.
India women have named an uncapped all-rounder Dayalan Hemalatha for the three matches ODI series alongside Devika Vaidya. Mona Meshram and Punam Raut have been omitted from the squad due to their poor form. India women have announced a 15-member squad including the veteran Jhulan Goswami. Sukanya Parida has also been axed.

For India, Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Madhana will have to charge with the bat. In the practice match, Devika Vaidya scored 104 off 150 deliveries. In bowling, Jhulan Goswami will play a crucial role.
