After slamming Rajasthan Royals by 9 wickets in their first encounter, Sunrisers Hyderabad will welcome Mumbai Indians at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad to lock horns in the 7th fixture of IPL 2018 on April 12. The clash will begin at 08:00 PM Local.
While Sunrisers has won its previous encounter, MI lost to Chennai Super Kings in the season opener. Kane Williamson will lead the HYD after D Warner was not allowed to play in this IPL. MUM will play under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. They lost the nerve-wracking season opener against CSK by just 1 wicket and are expected to make a strong comeback.
Hyderabad completely dominated Royals in their previous encounter and easily won the game by 9 wickets. They are unlikely to make changes to their playing 11. However, Tom Moody indicated that they are still looking for some combinations. So, SRH might bring in Alex Hales in place of Billy Stanlake.
Mumbai, on the other hand, failed to grab a win even after a powerful performance. They are also likely to remain unchanged. However, there is some concern over Hardik Pandya’s fitness. He encountered an ankle injury in the first match and has not taken part in any practice sessions also. If he misses out, MI might rope in Saurabh Tiwary.

Both the teams are equally stronger. While SRH has strong bowling line-up, the way S Dhawan and K Williamson batted against RR, they are nowhere going to lack in batting too. SRH looks balanced. This will be the second home game for Hyderabad. They won the first by 9 wickets against RR. Mumbai, on the other hand, failed to win even after putting a brilliant all-round show. It will be a tough contest between bat and ball when both the teams will face each other tomorrow at Hyderabad. As per our HYD vs MUM match prediction, it is an evenly poised contest.
As the Hyderabad wicket is a flat track, the wicket slows down gradually. The spinners get more benefit in comparison to pacers. So, spinners like Shakib Al Hasan. M Markande and Rashid Khan can play a crucial role. In batting, S Dhawan and Krunal Pandya will be a safe bet. In all-rounder, Shakib Al Hasan and Kieron Pollard will be a good choice.
