HBH vs SDT Dream11 Prediction

Big Bash League, 2018 | Hobart Hurricanes vs Sydney Thunder, Match 11 Preview | HBH vs SDT Who Will Win

The Big Picture

The 11th match of the 2018 Big Bash League will see Hobart Hurricanes play host to Sydney Thunder at the picturesque Bellerive Oval. Both Hurricanes and Thunder are sitting pretty after having notched up two wins on the trot and will look to make it three in a row.

Riding on an imperious 37-ball-52 by skipper Matthew Wade, the Hurricanes notched up a comprehensive six-wicket win over Melbourne Stars in their previous encounter after they successfully chased down 156 in 18.4 overs. This happened after Jofra Archer’s 3-25 and a couple of wickets from D’Arcy Short had helped them restrict MLS to 5-155.

They will now face Sydney Thunder, who too are coming off an impressive 21-run win over their Sydney counterparts in Sixers. Batting first, Thunder rode on the shenanigans of Jos Buttler, who scored a pulsating 37-ball-63 to lead to help his side post an eventual match-winning total of 9-169 in 20 overs.

Defending 169, Fawad Ahmed [3-33] and Daniel Sams [3-30] spearheaded the bowling attack for the Thunder as they wrecked through Sixers middle-order to leave them reeling at 6-56. Tom Curran threatened to take the game away during his 40-ball-62 before Chris Green took out the prize scalp and restrict them to 9-148- 21 runs adrift of the target.
