After winning the first two games and taking a lead of 2-0 in the five matches’ series, Australia is now eyeing on taking an undefeatable lead when they will enter the ground tomorrow morning to face off visitors in the third test in Perth. England has failed in all the departments in both the test matches. The visitors lost the first test match by 10 wickets and second by 120 runs.
This is the last chance for England to save the series. Australia has already taken a lead of 2-0 and if they manage to win in Perth, there would be nothing left in the series. Australian skipper, Smith is also looking for the whitewash and said that there’s no reason why Australia can’t win The Ashes by 5-0.
If we look towards the team change, then Australia might replace struggling Peter Handscomb by Mitchell Marsh. He has been outstanding in domestic cricket and including him in the playing 11 will also give Australia an extra depth in their bowling line up. On the other hand, England team is likely to remain unchanged. They will play with the same playing 11 which played at Adelaide.
So, it’s a ‘do or die’ situation for England as after losing this match, the series will be dead and buried.

Series- The Ashes 2017-18
Venue- WACA Ground Perth
Date and Time- December 14-18; 10:30 AM
The WACA Ground pitch in Perth is amongst the quickest and bounciest wickets in the world. The outfield is also exceptionally fast. However, the surface has flattened out over a last few years, the famous pace and bounce have been absent and the wicket is likely to be favorable for batting.
