After a massive win by ten wickets in the inaugural match of The Ashes 2017-18, the hosts would look to secure yet another win against England in the Adelaide Oval ground. The historic day-night second test match starting from December 2 is hoped to be spicier and enthralling than the first game where Steve Smith single-handedly took the entire spotlight. Both the teams were looking competitive till Steve Smith compiled a brilliant knock of unbeaten 141 in the first inning. It became the turning point of the game and England failed to make a comeback.
In this second match, where more pace in the wicket is expected, England’s spearhead James Anderson is hopeful of exploiting Australia’s batting line-up that once staggered at 76-4 before Steve came to the crease in the first match. Overall, a good cricket is expected to take place.
