By Savya Sachi

The 24th fixture of ICC World Cup 2019 will be played between England and Afghanistan at Old Trafford, Manchester on Tuesday.

Talking about England, they are running right defeating South Africa, West Indies, Bangladesh by a massive margin. The only defeat they witnessed was against Pakistan by 14 runs.

Afghanistan, on the other hand, is the only team in the tournament who have failed to collect a single point in the points table. They have lost all their matches and are lying last in the points table.

Afghans need to come up with all new tactics and strategies. It would be interesting to see if they somehow manage to demolish England in their home ground.

Rashid Khan’s talent has compelled all the cricket pundits to make him their point of discussion.  You can be an X-factor at this pitch as it offers a lot to the spinners. Although, he only has three wickets in his pockets currently but, Rashid is capable of reading the batsmen mind and could easily trick them.
He could add valuable runs with the bat coming lower order and this makes him a perfect X-factor that any team would want to have.
Jos Buttler is the batsmen who can help England break the jinx this time a the World Cup.  Buttler could definitely be a potential game-changer in tough conditions.

ENG vs AFGH Dream11 Team Prediction

Fantasy picks from England:

Jofra Archer: Jofra Archer would definitely trouble the Afghans with his pace. He has bagged 9 wickets so far in four innings and has an economy of 4.73.

Joe Root has been in exceptional form so far. He has scored 279 runs in 4 innings at an average of 93.00. You cannot afford to miss him. You can choose him as your captain.

Ben Stokes: Ben Stokes is one reliable English player who has scored 118 runs in 4 innings with the best being 89 runs. Not only with the bat, but he has also bagged 5 wickets in 4 innings at an economy of 5.17.

Fantasy picks from Bangladesh:

Hazratullah Zazai could only manage to score 22, 34 & 30 in three matches for Afghanistan, but if he gets back in his form, then he could destroy all line and lengths of every bowler.

Najibullah Zadran has scored maximum runs for Afghanistan. Scoring 98 runs in three matches at an average of 33 is pretty acceptable. He could be really effective for his upcoming fixture.

You cannot afford to miss M Nabi as he is one important asset for Afghans. At present, he has for 4 wickets in his pocket and holds an economy of 4.4. You can choose him as your vice-captain.

Since Plunkett is out of England’s playing 11, you can go for Mooen Ali.

H Zazai misses out, so you can go for Rahmat Shah.
