ICC Women’s World Twenty20, 2018 England Women vs South Africa Women, 15th Match, Group A | EN-W vs SA-W WHO WILL WIN  As the race to the semi-final intensifies, England Women will lock horns with South Africa in the 15th match of the 2018 Women’s World Twenty20.

Semi-Final spot on the line as England & South Africa lock horns

It is expected to be a crucial game for both sides, especially for the Proteas after they endured a collapse of magnanimous proportions to squander what was a golden chance to stake their claim to the semi-final spot. After restricting World Champions Windies to an under par 7-107 thanks to Shabnim Ismail (3-12) and skipper Dan van Niekirk’s two-wicket haul, the Proteas were comfortably placed at 1-48 after the 11th over. Needing a further 60 runs to win, they proceeded to lose the next nine wickets for 27 runs. Shamilia Connell (1-9) triggered the collapse, who removed Kapp for 26 before quintessential Proteas harakiri in crunch situations took place in the form of two run-outs. Niekirk (1), Luus (2), du Preez (7) and Tyron (6) all fell away in quick succession to hand Windies a frentic win South Africa’s loss to the Windies means theh need to their remaining two matches to harbour any chance of making it to the semi-finals.
They’ll face a buoyant English side, who will come into this game after buldozing Bangladesh by seven wickets thanks to an imperious bowling effort led by Shrubsole, Sciver and Kristie Gordon. South Africa’s batting will be severely tested against a potent and in-from English attack, and the way they react to it will define the course of their journey in the tournament.
